Sanctuary in the Jungle

Launching a criminal defense podcast

We partnered with Aaron A. Nelson and Nelson Defense Group, LLC to launch Sanctuary in the Jungle — a criminal defense podcast and digital platform exploring how the courtroom can function as a sanctuary: a place grounded in evidence, constitutional principles, and human dignity in an often emotion-driven world. This project included full podcast development, visual branding, bespoke set design consultation, a dedicated website, and a branded YouTube channel launch.

Bringing Sanctuary to Life

Sanctuary in the Jungle is built around a powerful metaphor: the courtroom as a sanctuary where rational decision-making, dignity, and justice can prevail amidst the surrounding “jungle” of emotion, chaos, and uncertainty. This thematic core isn’t just conceptual — it’s woven throughout every element of the show’s identity and production.

To support this vision, we developed a visual language, from motion graphics to social formats, that emphasizes clarity, warmth, and narrative momentum, creating an inviting space for viewers and listeners alike.

Building a Theme, a Channel, a Community

Launching a podcast isn’t just about hitting “record.” It’s about creating consistency, clarity, and a brand experience that viewers immediately recognize.

We structured episode flow to ensure a rhythm that feels both professional and approachable — balancing legal depth with accessible storytelling. From opening hooks to segment transitions, each episode was designed to guide listeners through complex topics without losing clarity or momentum.

Visually, we developed a cohesive motion graphics package tailored for digital and social platforms. Intro sequences, lower thirds, typography systems, and branded visual elements work together to create a unified identity across every touchpoint.

Designing the World of the Show

The physical environment matters.

We consulted on set design, lighting, and camera blocking to visually reinforce the podcast’s tone: calm, thoughtful, and grounded. Every production decision — from lighting temperature to framing — was crafted to mirror the show’s central idea of the courtroom as a place of reason within chaos.

The result is a set that feels intentional and inviting, not performative — a space where meaningful conversations can unfold.

A Digital Home for the Mission

Beyond the studio, we launched a dedicated website to house the growing library of conversations, highlight episode themes, and expand the brand narrative.

We also built and branded the show’s YouTube channel — creating a seamless extension of the podcast’s identity across platforms. From channel art to thumbnails to episode descriptions, every element reinforces the Sanctuary in the Jungle message, making the content discoverable, shareable, and cohesive.

More Than a Podcast

Sanctuary in the Jungle is not just a media project — it’s a brand ecosystem.

From lighting and camera angles to intro sequences and web design, every element was intentionally crafted to support one mission: creating an environment where thoughtful conversations about justice, dignity, and constitutional defense can thrive.

Because building a podcast isn’t just about recording audio.
It’s about building a sanctuary people trust enough to enter.
